Hello everyone!
I am thrilled to be able to join the amazing team present at First Peoples Native
Center. I am an alumni from Mt SAC, I am proud to have started my academic journey at such an amazing and supportive college. Before I transferred
I was at Mt SAC for 7 years and throughout that journey I changed my major once during
the last two years at Mt SAC, wanting to shift from working indoors in a chemistry
lab to one where I was able to work alongside future students teaching them about
the world around them.
I am currently working towards a Biology degree at Cal Poly Pomona, just over the
hill. In my free time I enjoy going on nature walks, looking for new music to listen
to, and playing all sorts of games, from table top to video. A fun fact about myself
is that I have eaten the Carolina Reaper pepper (the second hottest pepper in the
world) on three separate occasions. I look forward to meeting all of you within the
space and at our events!
