Combinational and sequential logic circuits emphasizing number systems, binary math, basic gates, Boolean algebra, Karnaugh maps, encoders, decoders, multiplexing, flip-flops, counters, registers, and microcontrollers. Stresses design and troubleshooting techniques. Includes finite state machine design, Algorithmic State Machine (ASM) charts, field programmable logic arrays (FPGAs) and associated software.
