Reasonable Modifications for Students
The Title IX Coordinator can coordinate reasonable modifications for pregnant students to ensure the student's equal access to Mt. SAC's education programs and activities. Requests for reasonable modifications may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying, drinking, and keeping water nearby
- Use of a bigger desk
- Sitting and standing
- Breaks to eat, drink, or use the restroom
- Bigger Uniforms
Lactating and Breastfeeding Resources
Mt. SAC is committed to serving faculty, staff, and students who need to express milk on campus during hours of operation. Mt. SAC provides lactation rooms and suites in close proximity to classrooms and work spaces, and adequate break time for students and employees to express milk. Information is available to students and employees regarding their rights and locations of lactation suites.
