by Dr. Lisa Rodriguez
A 35-year veteran of higher education service and community justice, Dr. Lisa Rodriguez earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education while co-founding a non-profit
organization to assist women in substance treatment, alternative prison and parole programs. Dr. Rodriguez previously taught for two community colleges, one
University and managed $6.6 million in Federal Grants to Develop Hispanic Serving
Institutions.
Her professional background includes leading a Center for Teaching & Learning, teaching
English Composition, Study Techniques, and Technology for Educators courses prior
to her tenure as Acting Director of Professional and Organizational Development. In
her personal life, she is a grandmother and a Trekkie.
