About
The Senate is the leadership team that is comprised of the positions below who are responsible for passing legislation and serve as the voice for the students on campus. Each Senator will remain in office for two (2) semesters.

Responsibilities

Eligibility
- Must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00pm-4:30pm
- Must be available Thursdays 4:30pm - 5:30pm (for those serving on Activities Committee)
- Have completed one (1) semester at Mt. SAC and 6 graded units with a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must be enrolled in at least 5 units and maintain a 2.0 semester GPA
- Pay the Student Activities Fee of $15.00 each semester
- Attend four (4) A.S. meetings prior to the interview process
- Have no discipline record on file with the college
- Complete a Senate application
