Kinesiology Department
The Kinesiology Department at Mt. SAC offers a wide array of course offerings, degree opportunities and certificates for students interested in the discipline. Courses in adaptive, theory, sports specific, combatives, and team activities are available. Our AA Degree in Kinesiology and Wellness is one of the fastest growing on campus. The facilities are advanced and provide students the opportunity to train and learn on some of the best equipment available.

The Athletic Trainer Aide I Certificate provides minimal experience necessary to assist High School Athletic Trainers and Athletic Health Care Providers in the community. . .
This certificate program is intended to prepare students for employment as high school (walk-on) coaches, but is appropriate for coaches at various levels.
The Fitness Specialist/Personal Trainer Certificate prepares students for careers as personal trainers, health/fitness professionals in corporate fitness facilities, wellness centers and public/private health clubs. . .
