Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society
Phi Theta Kappa is the international honors society of two-year colleges. With nearly 1,300 chapters all over the world, it is one of the largest and most active honors societies. Members may access $37 million in scholarships, enjoy free enrollment in PTK Connect, a transfer, college and career planning tool, the Five Star Competitive Edge, a personal and professional development plan for building marketable skills and an online portfolio, the opportunity to be published in Phi Theta Kappa's anthology, Nota Bene, opportunities to develop research and leadership skills, increased pay grade for entry level federal jobs, and personalized letters of recommendation for scholarships and employment.
Membership Requirements
- 3.4 cumulative GPA
- Completion of 12 transferable units
- Obtain application from the Honors Center (26A-1680).
- Pay $85 membership fee to the Mt. SAC Box Office online at https://tickets.mtsac.edu/clubfees/Online/default.asp. Note: If you have paid at another chapter, choose Phi Theta Kappa - Local Dues Only
- Turn in completed application, receipt from the Box Office indicating membership fee paid, and unofficial transcripts to the Honors Center (26A-1680) or email to honors@mtsac.edu.
