The Mt. San Antonio College Business Management Department, Cal Poly Pomona Technology Operations Management, and Regional Chamber of Commerce of San Gabriel Valley are proud to co-host the 4th Annual Supply Chain Summit 2026! We’re thrilled to introduce an industry tradeshow designed to bring together key relationships and create new opportunities for business in our community. As future technologies shape the industry, we’ll explore data-driven performance indicators that help bridge the workforce gap in the Supply Chain sector, ensuring long-term sustainability. This one-night event will bring together professionals, business owners, and students for an evening of valuable insights. Attendees will dive into key topics in the Supply Chain field, explore career opportunities, unlock scholarship possibilities, and foster connections between industry leaders, students, and faculty.

Sun Kwok is an innovation leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of diverse management experience across multiple industries and supply chain disciplines. He has also been a long-time Board Member of the Southern California Roundtable, previously serving as Education Chair, Treasurer, and IT Co-Chair.

Currently, Sun is the Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions at Niagara Bottling LLC, the world's largest private label water bottling company. Based in California, Niagara operates over 50 manufacturing facilities across the continental United States and has acquired two former competitors. In the past six years, Niagara has aggressively expanded its international production footprint into Central America, Europe, and Australia.

Sun leads a team of 40 highly technical supply chain professionals who support the 500+ member Supply Chain Department in the areas of Continuous Improvement and Artificial Intelligence. This includes process mining and re-engineering, as well as prompt engineering and the deployment of large language models (LLMs) within both SaaS and homegrown platforms. His career passion lies in leading transformative organizational optimization efforts.

Felicia Alexander


Felicia C. Alexander serves as the Senior Director of Global Supply Chain at Northrop Grumman Corporation. With more than 30 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, she is a strategic and resourceful leader known for guiding cross‑functional teams across international business development, sales, project management, and operations. Felicia has a proven record of developing clear strategies, setting ambitious goals, and delivering measurable results in both private and public sector environments.

Deeply committed to civic engagement, Felicia serves as a Board Trustee for the San Bernardino City Unified School District and as a Board Member of the Inland Empire Community Foundation. She is also President of the Assistance League of San Bernardino and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., The Links, Incorporated (San Bernardino Valley Chapter), Jack and Jill of America, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Felicia earned her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and holds an M.A. from John F. Kennedy University. She and her husband, Damon Alexander, are the founders of the San Bernardino Turkey Trot, which they have proudly hosted for more than 11 years. The event’s proceeds support nonprofit organizations throughout San Bernardino County that uplift marginalized communities through their family foundation, The Alexander Family Foundation.

Felicia enjoys traveling the world and spending meaningful time with her husband and their blended family of five children and five grandchildren.


Sharma Avin

Avin P. Sharma is the Senior Director of Workforce and Government Affairs for the Port of Los Angeles. He joined the Port in 2017 after having served in President Obama’s Administration where his roles included: the Economics Director in the Presidential Personnel Office at The White House; the White House Liaison and Counselor to U.S. Secretary of Labor Tom Perez; and as an appointee at the U.S. Department of Justice. Before joining the Obama Administration, he was a litigation attorney in private practice.  In 2020, Sharma also served on the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition Team where he was the lead for the U.S. Department of Labor.

In his role at the nation’s busiest port, Sharma is responsible for engaging and maintaining relationships with labor unions, leading the Port’s efforts to develop projects that support workforce development in the goods movement sector, and oversee the Port’s Government Affairs division which advocates for legislation and regulations that support the Port and its stakeholders. In 2020, Sharma was appointed to the California Workforce Development Board by Governor Newsom.

Sharma holds bachelor’s degrees in business economics and political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a juris doctor from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. He is an active member of the State Bar of California.

Throughout her career, Emily has held key leadership positions at A.P. Moller – Maersk, NFI, and Weber Logistics. Her expertise lies in fostering cross-functional relationships and implementing strategic sales initiatives that bridge the gap between operational efficiency and customer success. Known for her ability to remain agile in ever-changing markets, she is a dedicated communicator who prioritizes team empowerment and resource utilization. By leveraging technology and data-driven insights, she continues to help companies optimize their performance while scaling for sustainable growth.

Adrian began his career developing technology solutions for corrections facilities before moving to the private sector, where he helps organizations grow securely. Under his guidance, Zeta Sky partners with industry leaders like AWS, Microsoft, the National Cybersecurity Alliance and the FBI to stay at the forefront of IT security.


Lupe Valdez

Lupe Valdez joined the Union Pacific as the Director of Public Affairs in July of 2005. She serves the Los Angeles Basin, which includes Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara and Imperial Counties as well as Arizona and Southern Nevada. Her responsibilities include working with local elected officials and community groups as well as dealing with environmental policy.

Lupe grew up in Northeast Los Angeles and attended local schools. She continued her education at the University of Southern California where she earned both a B.A. degree and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. 

Prior to joining the Union Pacific, she worked for Southern California Regional Rail Authority- (Metrolink) in Los Angeles and served as a Deputy Executive Officer for the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) in Diamond Bar.  She began her professional transportation career at the Southern California Rapid Transit District (RTD) and continued her transportation work with Los Angeles County Transportation Commission (LACTC) and MTA, now known as Metro. Her initial professional start occurred serving as Project Manager at the Center for Nonprofit Management in Los Angeles.

Lupe currently serves on the Boards of Commerce Business Council, San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, San Gabriel Valley Public Affairs Network, Inland Empire Economic Partnership and Goodwill Los Angeles and Inland Empire.

Mariana Juarez Gomez


Mariana Juarez is a third-year Operations and Supply Chain Management student at California State University, Fullerton. She also serves as President of the Association for Operations and Supply Chain Management at CSUF, where she leads the development of a Southern California Operations and Supply Chain Council focused on strengthening career pathways and intercollegiate collaboration. 

Mariana currently serves as a Fulfillment Specialist at Fastenal in Garden Grove, where she supports operational activities including receiving, inventory coordination, order fulfillment and delivery, pricing inquiries, customer engagement, and professional correspondence, while gaining valuable experience under a highly supportive leadership team. Mariana is driven by the value created through supply chain operations and aspire to pursue a career in luxury brand operations, with the long-term goal of leading facility operations.

Amy Neway is a Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management candidate at the USC Marshall School of Business and President of the Global Supply Chain Club at USC. With a foundation in neuroscience and data analytics, Amy is a generalist with deep supply chain domain expertise, integrating insights across disciplines to drive resilient, high-impact decisions.

Amy's global perspective is shaped by her Ethiopian background and experience navigating diverse cultural environments. She has led cross-functional initiatives across logistics and IT and is passionate about procurement, automation using AI, and future-ready supply chain leadership. She aspires to work at the intersection of analytics, technology, and operations, applying a systems-thinking approach to complex supply chain challenges. Outside of work and school, Amy enjoys hiking, pickleball, and exploring local coffee shops.

Katherine Tan is the President of the Business Club at Mt. San Antonio College. She leads a team of officers to organize meetings, workshops, and events focused on professional development, networking, and student engagement. These efforts have fostered an inclusive and supportive environment centered on connection, learning, and growth, encouraging students to connect with one another, learn from industry professionals, and gain exposure to real-world business topics.

Katherine has a strong interest in supply chain and is motivated to explore how it can be integrated with accounting to bridge the gap between logistics and financial strategy.


Kimberly Velasco

Kimberly Velasco


Kimberly Velasco is a senior at the University of California, Riverside, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. She currently serves as President of UCR’s Supply Chain Society, where she leads initiatives focused on professional development, industry engagement, and cross-campus collaboration.

In her role, Kimberly works closely with her board to strengthen internal operations and oversee programming, including site tours, workshops, and speaker panels that connect students with industry professionals and prepare them for careers in supply chain and operations. She also serves as Director of Internal Affairs for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at UCR, managing internal processes, documentation, and organizational coordination.

Kimberly has gained hands-on industry experience through an Operations Internship with DHL Supply Chain, where she supported process improvement initiatives for semiconductor customers. Her work included packaging optimization, outbound audit improvements, and operational analysis that contributed to efficiency gains and cost savings. Through this experience, she developed a strong understanding of how operations, procurement, and supplier coordination work together in real-world supply chains.
Kimberly brings a structured, detail-oriented approach to her work and is particularly interested in pursuing roles within procurement and operations, where she can contribute to sourcing, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.


Matthew Wong

Matthew Wong


Matthew Wong is a Technology and Operations Management major at Cal Poly Pomona, specializing in supply chain optimization through data-driven decision-making. As President of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) at CPP, he leads a team of officers to organize high-impact events, workshops, and networking opportunities that connect students with industry leaders. Their efforts have significantly increased student engagement and professional development.

Matthew is an intern at at DuPont and PepsiCo. These experiences has allowed him to apply tools like Excel, Python, Power BI, and SAP to improve inventory accuracy, streamline warehouse operations, and enhance forecasting. He thrives in cross-functional environments and enjoy solving complex logistics challenges. Outside of academics, Matthew co-leads a youth mentorship program and explores film photography as a creative outlet. Matthew brings curiosity, empathy, and a continuous improvement mindset to every project he takes on.
