Be a first-time college student that has never attended any college

*Dual enrollment, special admit, and non-credit students are eligible

Be a California resident or AB540 eligible

Submit a 2025-2026 Financial Aid Application (FAFSA or CA Dream Act)

*Students are not required to qualify for financial aid

Declare a Major

*Undecided majors and certificates under 16 units are not eligible

Participate in a Summer Bridge Program OR Enroll in COUN 1 course also known as STEP Into College Program and earn a minimum of 2.0 GPA 

Complete a Promise Plus application located in the Mt. SAC student portal

Attend the mandatory Promise Plus Kickoff event - EMAIL INVITE ONLY
