This page is for students who are currently participating in the Promise Plus program. If you are not currently an Promise+ student, please refer to the Future Promise+ Students page.
Currently enrolled Promise+Plus students must meet the program requirements below to remain eligible by our Promise Plus Lock-In Date to receive term-to-term promise financial and support benefits for the first two years of college. Our Promise Plus requirements are designed to help you achieve your Promise to Succeed!
Meet with a Counselor (30-45 minutes) |

Attend a minimum of ONE Promise Approved Workshop |

Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units by Lock-In Date |

Maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester |

Submit a Financial Aid application (FAFSA or CA Dream Act) each year between March and June |
The Lock-In Date is the Promise Plus deadline set in the Fall or Spring semester for students to register for a minimum of 6 units which is required to be eligible for the Promise Plus program. Part-time and full-time benefits will be determined based on unit enrollment at the Lock-In Date.
Benefits by Units
- Less than Part-Time: 0 - 5.5 units (Ineligible for Promise Plus)
- Part-Time Benefits: 6 - 11.5 units
- Full-Time Benefits: 12+ units
Note:
- Units added after the Lock-in Date will not be considered to receive an increase in benefits.
- Waitlisted courses do not count towards the minimum unit requirement.
