DLAs & ILAs
-
Directed Learning Activities (DLAs) and Interactive Learning Activities (ILAs) are great tools designed to help you strengthen your grammar and writing skills. Your professor might ask you to complete certain DLAs or ILAs, but you’re also welcome to do them on your own anytime. You can print out any DLA from the list below. Some of them include a short quiz (noted on the list). If you’re meeting with a tutor online, you can show your quiz results by taking a screenshot or a clear photo of your score and uploading it to your appointment window.
ILAs (available only in the WC) are short, interactive activities that help you practice and improve specific writing or grammar skills. f you’d like help with a DLA or ILA and need proof that you’ve completed one for a class, you can make an appointment with a tutor on EAB. After reviewing your DLA with you and confirming your understanding of the material, the tutor will provide proof of completion.
