How to Apply to the Paramedic Academy

      Mt. San Antonio College will begin the application process for Paramedic Academy 101 (Spring 2027) IN PERSON.

      Applications will be accepted in person during the following dates and times. ONLY COMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. All applications must be typed.

      September 14-17, 2026 (Monday -Thursday)
      9AM - 12:00PM
      Bldg. 28B Room 208

      September 18, 2026 (Friday)
      10AM - 1PM
      Bldg. 28B Room 208

      *Note: Only first 90 completed applicants will be guaranteed a entrance exam.

    • 3Required Documentation

      All items are below are required with your application submission in order to be considered for the program:

      • Current BLS/CPR for First Responders card
      • Current California EMT card
      • Valid CA Driver’s License
      • EMT Experience letter from your Employer, verifying 1000 hours completed with a percentage breakdown of number of IFT hours as well as 911 response hours. This letter must be on official letterhead with a “wet” supervisor signature
      • Military applicants need to provide your DD-214 form
      • Proof of High School Diploma/Transcript or equivalent
      • Official College Transcripts (AA, BA, MA)
      • Submit Mt. SAC Assessment Questionnaire (AQ) Result with minimum eligibility in English 1A, Math 51, and Read 90. The AQ may be waived if you have a degree (AA, BA, MA, etc.) from a California UC or Cal State school. Your counselor can provide more information.
      • Proof of Mt. SAC College Orientation completion - You can submit a screenshot of your completed Orientation through the Checklist on the Mt. SAC Portal under Student tab.
