Budgeting and Money Skills

These courses teach students with developmental disabilities how to manage their money, create a budget, perform basic banking and more. 

ACCS ILSBB Basic Budgeting and Money Management:

Build independent living skills through personal basic money management and budgeting.

ACCS ILMS Independent Living Skills – Money Skills:

Basic money skills necessary for performing accurate money exchange. Including currency identification, values of currency, and basic currency counting.

ACCS IBSID Introduction to Banking for Students with Intellectual Disabilities:

Basic banking skills for students with intellectual disabilities including writing and depositing checks and balancing accounts.

Spring 2025 Schedule:
  1. Visit the Mt. SAC Schedule of Classes online to view classes for the current term.
  2. Click "Search for Classes."
  3. Select the appropriate term.
  4. Click the bubble next to "Noncredit."
  5. Type in the Course Number (e.g. ILSBB, ILMS, IBSID, etc.).
  6. Click the bubble next to "No" in the Open Classes Only section.
  7. Optional: select your preferred day(s) of the week.
  8. Click "Submit."
